The Garden or Porch
A Rich History
Turn right though Jackson’s iconic red covered bridge, past Flossie’s General Store, Town Hall, The Ravenswood Curio Shop and the Skimo’s Ski & Sports Club to the heart of Jackson Village and The Wildcat Inn & Tavern.
Built in 1923 this classic New England Inn has been home to a wide variety of Jackson’s most notable businesses and clubs, including Saks Fifth Avenue, Mr. Finney’s photographer studio, Western Union, The White Mountain Ski Runners Club, The Carol Reed Shop and the world renown Eastern Slope Ski School which was founded on the site in 1938.
Since the late 1950’s when Carol and Brad Boyton opened the first restaurant and inn on the site The Wildcat has been serving merriment and cheer to generations of skiers, back country hikers, and White Mountain adventurers who appreciate the hearty country fare, beautiful gardens, great entertainment, and crackling apple wood fires that have made The Wildcat Inn & Tavern famous.
With world class golf and cross country skiing right next door, and hiking, biking, and fishing only minutes away the Wildcat’s central location offers a wide variety of outdoor activities that include North Conway’s famous outlet and specialty shops just down the road.
If you are looking for the perfect place for a party The Wildcat Inn & Tavern is centrally located in the heart of one of New England’s most popular year round vacation destinations.
